About the role

Are you an empathetic, highly organised operational leader driven to enrich the lives of older Australians? We are seeking a dedicated Retirement Living Manager to oversee village operations across our Riverside, Fairways, and Mount Gambier communities.

In this pivotal leadership position, you will drive our "Better for life" philosophy—empowering resident independence, building vibrant community connections, and ensuring operational excellence across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations & Community: Oversee daily village operations, hospitality services, and facilities to deliver an outstanding resident experience.

• Sales & Occupancy: Support sales enquiries, conduct open inspections, and manage seamless admissions for new residents.

• Financial & Compliance Management: Oversee budgets, drive performance targets, and ensure complete compliance with the Retirement Villages Act.

• Healthy Ageing Pathways: Connect residents with health resources, lifestyle programs, and support pathways such as My Aged Care to promote continued independence.

• Asset Maintenance: Coordinate refurbishment of vacant villas, programmed maintenance, and safety compliance with internal teams and external contractors.

About you

• Relevant Background: Experience as a Retirement Living Manager or in a similar operational management role within retirement living or senior care settings.

• Person-Centered Focus: A genuine passion for delivering compassionate customer service and nurturing warm, trusting relationships.

• Exceptional Communication: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills tailored to diverse stakeholders.

• Self-Motivated & Resilient: Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritise competing deadlines, and lead with a calm, solution-focused mindset.

• Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with Google Workspace and operational databases.

• Requirements: A valid Driver’s Licence is required for regular travel between sites.
