- Shifts available: Mondays to Sundays from 12:00 - 18:00
- Dual role supporting both Personal Care and Food Services within our Residential Aged Care Facility
About the role
- Personal Carer - Deliver person-centred personal care and support in alignment with SCC’s Better for Life model— tailored to each resident's needs, goals, and preferences. The mission is holistic, promoting active participation in the residents' health and well-being through compassion and connection.
- Food Service Assistant - Provide high-quality catering services as part of a cohesive team, ensuring safe, nutritious, and enjoyable dining experiences for residents.

About you
Qualifications

Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate III in Aged Care
Experience
- Previous experience in a food handling or catering role.
- Demonstrated experience working as a Personal Carer with minimal supervision.
Skills
- Best-practice food handling skills and safe food service practices.
- Competence in providing personal and clinical care.
- Clear communication skills, including the ability to read and follow written instructions.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management and the ability to organise workload independently.
- Physical and emotional capacity to meet the demands of the role, including safe manual handling.
Knowledge
- Understanding of supporting residents living with dementia, including those with challenging behaviours.
- Basic knowledge of Aged Care Standards across both care and hospitality functions.
