About the role
This role is responsible for ensuring the operational continuity of our business applications and the seamless flow of data between them.
The Analyst will provide system application support and maintenance to ensure high levels of data and system availability. The Application & Integration Analyst will also design, develop, and enhance data integrations between key business systems using low-code/no-code platforms.
Effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders is a key requirement of the role, required to translate our organisational requirements into functional, robust and reliable data flows.
Underpinning all activities is a commitment to developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, which is essential to the quality provision of services provided by the Business Systems team.
Special Conditions:
The position is predominantly based at Corporate Office, however the incumbent may be required to travel to other SCC sites (fleet cars are available).
Some out of hours planned work or system support may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Integration Development and Support: Design, develop, deploy, and maintain integrations using low-code/no-code platforms and various connectivity methods (API, CSV, ODBC). Implement ETL processes, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and create comprehensive documentation.
- Application Support: Investigate and resolve data-related application/system issues in a timely, customer-centric manner, meeting SLA commitments. Troubleshoot errors, monitor performance, and implement updates/patches/enhancements.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business analysts, subject matter experts, and end-users to gather requirements. Provide training and support, communicate progress to stakeholders, and facilitate workshops.
- Change Management: Conduct deployments, upgrades, and maintenance in collaboration with vendors and users, ensuring thorough testing in DEV/UAT environments before production. Adhere to the change control process and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Workload Management: Manage and prioritise incoming workloads, efficiently resolve system issues, and provide accurate ticket documentation. Identify future business system capabilities and lead the integration of new corporate initiatives. Serve as a key escalation point for complex system queries.

About you

Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential: Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience working in large-scale, complex application environments with technically diverse user
groups. - Demonstrated ability to provide ongoing maintenance and support for business-critical systems.
- Broad understanding of corporate systems and their interplay, such as CRM, Financial, Procurement,
Payroll, and Rostering platforms.

Technical Skills:
- Experience developing and supporting applications on low-code/no-code platforms.
- Proficiency with modern data integration tools and techniques (e.g., SnapLogic, Airflow).
- Strong ability in designing, developing, and consuming APIs (REST, SOAP) for seamless system integration.
- Skilled in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to automate tasks and extend platform capabilities.
- High proficiency with office productivity suites, specifically Google Workspace.
