About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Front of House Assistant to join our catering services team. In this role, you will provide customer service for our residents, staff, and visitors. You will work closely with the Cafe Manager to maintain an efficient, hygienic, and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in dispatching and serving meals for residents, staff, visitors, and special functions while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and hygiene.
• Undertake general kitchen duties, manage the POS system, and complete daily reconciliations.
• Assist with stock takes, requisitioning supplies, and checking incoming deliveries for quality and quantity.
• Maintain strict food safety and HACCP standards, including monitoring and recording temperature and cleaning logs.
• Support new team members, attend staff meetings, and communicate in a way that fosters a harmonious, positive workplace
