About the role
The Chef Manager provides leadership for catering functions, ensuring the preparation and service of high-quality, nutritious meals that meet resident preferences and special dietary needs. The role is responsible for maintaining compliance with Food Safety regulations, HACCP standards, and accreditation requirements.

About you
We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients. To be successful in this role, you will need:

Relevant trade certificate or cookery experience, plus the Food Safety Supervisor Course (Standard 3.2.2A).

Previous experience working as a cook or chef with responsibility for the planning and preparation of nutritionally balanced and appetising meals in an aged care environment.
- Expertise in Aged Care Standards, food regulatory requirements, and supporting residents with dementia is essential.

Sound problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Google Workspace and database systems.
