About the role

As a core member of our finance team, you will manage retirement income streams and loans, oversee our fixed asset register, and work closely with the Finance Business Partner to drive key financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly financial reports, journals, and accruals. Assist with board reporting, external compliance, scenario ("what if") analysis, and annual budgeting.

  • Retirement Loans & Revenue: Oversee retirement loan records and provide accurate monthly reporting on revenue stream collections.

  • Asset & Capital Works Management: Maintain robust processes for tracking capital expenditure and works expenses across the organisation.

  • Systems & Compliance: Ensure high-accuracy accounting records, manage key billing systems, and support software upgrades and statutory compliance.

About you

You are a proactive finance professional who takes pride in accuracy, values clear communication, and wants their work to make a meaningful difference.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience & Qualifications: Proven experience as an Accountant. A CPA/CA qualification (or progress towards one) is highly desirable.

  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with financial systems and Google Workspace.

  • Personal & Professional Attributes: Exceptional time management and communication skills, paired with high integrity, resilience, and a person-centered approach.

  • Industry Knowledge: A basic understanding of relevant Aged Care Standards is advantageous.
