Hours: 4:45pm - 10:15pm

About the role
The Enrolled Nurse delivers high-quality, person-centered care to clients experiencing cognitive or physical decline. Under the guidance of the Respite Leadership team, you will support daily living activities, meal preparation, mobility, and social engagement to promote healthy ageing. By following individual care plans and "Better for Life" principles, you will identify changing needs and implement holistic strategies that encourage active client participation and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to;

Deliver safe, person-centered care following individual wellbeing plans.

Manage medications, skin integrity, and sleep hygiene within the EN scope of practice.

Promote healthy aging by "doing with" rather than "doing for" each client.
- Follow the daily planner while introducing new ideas to enhance each shift.

Listen with empathy to clients and families to respect their goals and preferences.

Protect client rights and support their independence in decision-making.

Maintain accurate documentation compliant with Aged Care Quality Standards.

About you
We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.
The successful candidate will have the following;
- Diploma of Nursing, current AHPRA registration, and a recent Aged Care Police Check. Certification in Dementia Care is highly regarded.
- Proven background in aged care (community or residential) with expertise in managing dementia and complex behaviors.
- Ability to manage holistic client needs and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- High-level verbal and written skills, with the ability to negotiate and build rapport with clients, families, and staff.
- Ability to remain calm and organized when dealing with shifting priorities, ambiguity, and clinical risks.
- A resilient, collaborative team player committed to SCC’s "Better for Life" values and healthy ageing principles.
