About the role
To assist the Procurement team with the administration of Procurement contracts, act as the key source of information regarding contract status, and administer Procurement activities and projects to drive better value and services for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Administration Focus:
- Manage and maintain SCC Procurement contacts, including accurate system data and status reporting.
- Prepare and communicate contract actions with stakeholders to ensure contracts are executed, reviewed, and maintained in accordance with timelines and governance.
- Provide administrative support for the RFI process.
- Facilitate expenditure reviews to identify opportunities to add value through improved procurement.
- Provide a first point of enquiry to internal staff and external suppliers.

Procurement Support:
- Ensure procurement activities align with SCC's strategic procurement objectives.
- Coordinate and make administrative arrangements for purchasing evaluations.
- Assist the team with data management, reporting, and information preparation.

About you
- Essential Experience: Experience in administering purchase contracts for goods and services, coordinating and providing purchasing support, and undertaking research, analysing data, and preparing reports.
- Essential Knowledge: Knowledge of procurement and purchase contracting methods and approaches, and a basic knowledge of the Aged Care Standards applicable to the role.
- Desirable: A relevant qualification in business, commerce, supply chain management, law, finance, or similar.
- Skills: Strong written communication skills, high computer literacy (specific requirement in Google apps), interpersonal skills, proven customer service skills, and demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
