Permanent Part Time positions

• Shifts available: Mondays to Sundays from 12:00 - 18:00

About the role

The key responsibilities are to provide person-centered care by encouraging resident independence and participation, assisting with daily living, and maintaining a safe environment. This includes assisting with personal care, mobility, and meals, while also preventing infection and reporting any changes in a resident's condition. 

This role also requires working positively and collaboratively with other staff and qualified practitioners to provide person centred services and support that is safe while ensuring compliance with safety, governance, and privacy standards.

About you

• Qualifications: Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate III in Aged Care.
• Experience: Previous experience in a personal carer role to work without direct supervision.
• Skills: Sound personal and clinical care skills, communication skills, time management, physical and emotional ability, and manual handling skills.
• Knowledge: Sound understanding of supporting residents living with dementia and basic knowledge of the Aged Care Standards applicable to the role.
• Desirable Requirements: Senior First aid certificate and an understanding of AN-ACC requirements.
