This position operates across two services:

Tuesday: Pearl Supported Care, Residential Site

Wednesday & Thursday: Pearl Health & Fitness Center

 

About the role

As an Occupational Therapist you will work in a person-centred, multi-disciplinary environment that embraces innovative practice and focuses on the reablement of our clients.   

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Deliver high-quality, timely, and evidence-based occupational therapy services.

  • Partner with clients to design, review, and adapt personalized treatment plans aligned with their goals.

  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary care planning, case conferencing, and complex problem-solving.

  • Proactively manage physical, social, and mental health pathways, identifying risks early.

  • Mentor students and assist with onboarding new therapy staff.

About you

We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;

  • Bachelor/Master in Occupational Therapy, current unrestricted AHPRA registration, and an unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence.

  • Proven assessment and treatment skills within an aged care setting, with a strong focus on wellness and lifestyle.

  • Ability to apply evidence-based models of behavior change and clinical reasoning tailored to individual client needs.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and documentation skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and stakeholders.
