About the role
The Registered Nurse Home Care reports to the Care Manager and is responsible for delivering high quality clinical and care services to achieve person centred care for clients and care recipients that is responsive to their assessed needs.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Responsibilities include conducting assessments, reviews, and developing budgets for clients to create service plans that manage risk and promote health.
- nurse delivers best-practice nursing services in clients' homes or via telehealth and manages clinical matters such as wound care, continence, nutrition, and medication monitoring.
- The role involves leading and supervising direct care staff, ensuring all documentation meets legislative requirements, and responding to incidents.
- The nurse must work safely, adhere to WHS policies, and report hazards.

About you
- Holds a Bachelor of Nursing, or recognised equivalent
- Current registration and practising certificate with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse
- Current Driver’s Licence (Class Car) and Own registered and insured car
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) & Current CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
- Proven experience in clinical nursing, delivering high-quality care to older adults with cognitive impairment and complex needs.
- Strong leadership experience in supervising and mentoring direct care staff.
- Skilled in working with clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
