About the role
- The Business Systems Manager leads the support & development of all internal applications.
- The Business Systems Manager also leads a team responsible for support and development of integration between systems, automating data flows and ensuring integrity across all systems.
- You will collaborate with the Business Intelligence team and other departments to translate operational needs into functional, reliable solutions. In this role, you will also be accountable for the maintenance, monitoring, and support of essential applications to ensure they meet the daily needs of our staff and clients.
- Providing direct leadership to the Business Systems team, this role will guide and manage Integration Specialists and Analysts to deliver these critical outcomes.
- This position reports to the Group Manager, Business Systems and Technology.
- Special Conditions:
- The position is predominantly based at the Corporate Office, however the incumbent may be required to travel to other SCC sites.
- Occasional out of hours work may be required.

About you
We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.
The successful candidate will have the following;
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams through the management of large-scale, complex integration projects, from conception to delivery.
- Proven technical expertise in enterprise integration, including hands-on experience with ETL management, data structures, REST/SOAP APIs, and SQL.
- Extensive experience administering and integrating key business systems and mission-critical applications, such as Dynamics 365 CRM/GP.
- Strong background in developing with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Google AppSheet) to deliver rapid and effective business solutions.
- Experience providing subject matter expert support for integrated business applications in an enterprise environment.
- Leadership & Interpersonal
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor a technical team, manage performance, and foster a positive, high-performance culture.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation with a proven ability to understand business needs and partner with departments to deliver functional solutions.
- Technical & Analytical
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous focus on quality, testing, and data integrity in all solutions.
- Ability to think strategically, identifying opportunities for process improvement and aligning technical solutions with broader business goals
