Fixed Term Part Time Parental Leave Contract  - (01 October 2026 to 05 October 2027)

  • 3 Days per week (09h00 to 17h06)
  • Preferable Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 

 

About the role

The Speech Pathologist oversees the Rehabilitation Service, coordinating professional and technical staff to provide services to residential aged care clients.

Based at the Central Office, the role involves visiting residential sites to work within a multi-disciplinary team, supporting the "Better for life" framework.

The position requires the exercise of independent professional judgement to resolve complex problems.

About you

We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.

To be successfully, you will need:

  • A Bachelor or Master Degree in Speech Pathology or relevant Allied Health discipline
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia and the Professional Self-Regulation Program
  • Experience leading and managing a team.
  • Insight into speech pathology work in a residential care home.
  • Experience working with a healthy ageing approach.
  • Basic knowledge of the aged care standards for this role.
