About the role

The Cleaner's role is to provide high-quality housekeeping services as part of a team, working safely and inclusively to offer person-centered care and support.

• Key Responsibilities: This includes general and scheduled cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, removing rubbish, curtains, floors, carpets), reporting maintenance needs, assisting other staff, maintaining privacy, and participating in satisfaction reviews.
• Governance and Safety: Responsibilities also cover using feedback for improvement, minimising waste, following safe work instructions for chemical handling (Australian standards), complying with policies and procedures, and reporting hazards or incidents.

About you

• Experience: Previous commercial cleaning experience.
• Skills: Adequate communication, ability to read instructions (including chemical use), ability to manage own workload, physical and emotional ability to perform the job, and manual handling skills.
