About the role

The Care Manager reports to the Residential Services Manager and is responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care. The role involves managing direct care staff, coordinating personal and clinical care, and ensuring compliance with Aged Care accreditation standards and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Leadership: Lead and mentor care staff, monitor performance, and facilitate educational programs.
  • Service Delivery: Coordinate clinical and personal care, manage resident care plans, and ensure appropriate AN-ACC documentation and assessments.
  • Quality and Compliance: Manage clinical risk, coordinate internal audits, and maintain strict adherence to the Aged Care Standards, the Aged Care Act, and professional regulations.
  • WHS Obligations: Ensure a safe work environment by implementing health and safety policies and managing staff compliance with safe work practices.

About you

We are looking for a dedicated leader ready to transform the lives of our residents. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) with current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, and a current First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Clinical Nurse with a track record of effective staff leadership and clinical management.
  • Skills & Knowledge: Strong proficiency in clinical assessments, quality assurance, and auditing, complemented by deep operational knowledge of Aged Care Standards, AN-ACC documentation, and Google Workspace.
